In compliance of “THE DELHI (RIGHT OF CITIZEN TO TIME BOUND DELIVERY OF SERVICES ACT- 2011”, the schedule for activity under e-SLA is as under:-

1. Application regarding issue of Registration Certificate for Eating House situated in Delhi would be disposed off in 55 days

On receipt of duly completed application form, it would be sent to the local police for verification and area suitability report within 3 days, a time frame of 40 days has been given to local police for sending their reports. On receipt of the local police verification report and after seeking clarification and conducting further verifications, if any, application would be disposed off with in 12 days.

2. Application regarding issue of Title verification for publication of Magazines, Newspapers, Journals etc. would be disposed off in 60 days.

On receipt of complete application the documents shall be forward to registrar of Newspaper of India for allotment of Title and to District DCsP for Local police report about applicant, place of publication and printing press. After sending the documents, the licensing unit should be brought out the ambit of the ESLA. On receipt of Title allotment from RNI and local police report, the licensing unit shall again enter the ESLA and authenticate the declaration.

3. Application regarding issue of Performance License in Licensed Premises would be disposed off in 24 hours.

Applicant fills the form and submits the same along with required documents to the Diarist at Licensing counter of Licensing Unit or Distt. Police. Performance license is issued after depositing the required fees.

4. Application regarding issue of Video Game Parlor License would be disposed off in 55 days.

Applicant fills the form and submits the same along with required documents to the Dealing Hand at Licensing counter of Licensing Unit or Distt. Police. Video Game Parlor license is issued after receipt of MCD Trade License & depositing the required fees.

5. Payment of compensatory cost to the citizen

At the time of delivery of citizen-related services , the citizen having applied for such services shall be entitled to seek compensatory cost in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the Rules made their under, in case of delay in the delivery of such service, beyond the period prescribed in the schedule..

6. Liability to pay cost

Every Govt. Servant who fails to deliver citizen-related services to the citizen with in the stipulated time as stipulated in the schedule shall be liable to pay cost at the rate of Rs. 10 rupees per day for the period of delay subject to maximum of Rs. 200 per application, in aggregate which shall be payable by him to the citizen as compensatory cost.

7. Demand of compensatory cost.

On such demand of compensatory cost by the citizen, at the time of delivery of citizen related services, it shall be the duty of competent officer to pay such cost to the citizen against acknowledgement and receipt as prescribed in the Rules.
